For the rest of the world – the 29th of September signalled a total lunar eclipse. Due to the vagaries of our geography we didn’t get it here in Australia. However as the full moon descended and the sun rose we did get quite the show that morning.
How clear is that moon?!?
Toward the east, a stunning morning was about to start with the first rays of the sun melting the colours of night away.
Here comes the sun
A close up of proceedings as we have lift off over the eastern seaboard.
Well worth the early alarm!
